Pour celles et ceux qui sont des habitués de travailler avec des schéma où il y plusieurs changements de couleur, que ce soit en crochet tunisien ou n’importe quelle maille, nous faisons face à l’inévitable mélange des fils qui faut démêler souvent avant de continuer le travail sinon on devient fou! Quand nous utilisons la méthode des bobines (ce qui signifie plusieurs petites balles de laine dépendant de la complexité du dessin à reproduire) les bobines peuvent être éparpillées et mélangées. Un astuce très simple est de recycler une bonne boîte et se créer des compartiments pour recevoir les bobines. Quand vient le temps de les démêler, nous changeons les bobines de compartiments dans l’ordre qu’elles seront utilisées dans le prochain rang.

For those used to working with graphghans where there are multitudes of colour changes, whether in Tunisian or any type of crochet method, we are all faced with the inevitable tangling of the yarn. We must then untangle regularly before we can continue any further or else we will go mad! When we use the bobbin method (meaning a multitude of small balls of yarn depending on the complexity of the design), the bobbins can get tangles and spread all over the place. One simple trick is to re-purpose a box and create compartments for each bobbin. When it’s time to untangle, simply shift the bobbins around in the different compartments in the order they will be used for the next row.
